What a week it’s been. Thank you to everyone who’s reached out with messages of support for my campaign. I’ve heard from so many of you both online and offline, and our campaign announcement received over 10,000 views across social media.
My small (but already growing!) team has been working around the clock on the logistics of the campaign, and I’m excited to announce the next step: asking YOU to join us!
If you believe in our message of political reform at City Hall and a vibrant, safe, and affordable Toronto-Danforth, we could really use your help. Here are a few ways to get involved:
- Volunteer! We are a grassroots campaign and our priority will soon be canvassing door-to-door and speaking to as many residents as possible. We have over 100,000 residents in Ward 14 and less than 60 days to go, but I have a goal of visiting every single block in the ward before October 26. If you’ve never canvassed before, it’s a great way to not only spread a message you believe in, but also to hear about the lives and struggles of your neighbours and to step outside your comfort zone. - Follow and share! Please follow our campaign on Facebook, Instagram, and X/Twitter at @george4ward14. Every share or like increases our exposure to other potential voters. - Donate! Your donation will be spent with the utmost care and will help us to produce and distribute more pamplets, lawn signs, and other supplies.
